The 2019-20 NBA season will always go down in history as Dwight Howard’s redemption season. He fulfilled his promise of paying back to Los Angeles Lakers’ fans after leaving in bad terms in 2013 and finally won that much-deserved NBA Championship.

It seems like it’s all finally coming together for Howard. He struggled with trades, injuries, and rumors about his personal life lately but now, he’s gone full circle.

And more than winning on the court, Superman is also succeeding off the hardwood, as he was joined in the celebration by his beautiful fiancée Te’a Cooper:

Cooper joined Howard in Orlando shortly after the end of the WNBA season. The rookie point guard from the Los Angeles Sparks and Howard have been dating for some time now and it’s pretty clear that they’re enjoying each other’s company.

Te’a clearly has a bright future ahead of her in the WNBA. She’s a sharp-shooting guard with solid playmaking skills and one of the first players off the bench for coach Derek Fisher.

As for Dwight Howard, he vowed to be solely focused on basketball this season. He got another shot after DeMarcus Cousins fell down with an injury and showed up with at the best shape of his career, providing a much-needed interior presence to a Lakers’ team craving depth behind JaVale McGee.

Howard has put together a Hall of Fame-worthy résumé and it seems like people tend to forget just how dominant and great he was a decade ago when he led the Magic to the NBA Finals vs. the Lakers. Now, there’s just no doubt that he’ll be inducted into the Naismith Memorial once his time comes.
