Dwight Howard Says Klay Thompson Is The Greatest Shooter He’s Ever Seen

2 Min Read

Dwight Howard has been trying to make most out of his experience in the bubble. He’s been very active on social media, interacting with fans, showing up to lonely DJ shows and more. D-12 recently took to Instagram to chat with his followers and he talked about a variety of topics, including who he believes is the greatest shooter of all time.

At some point, he talked about Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry, arguably the greatest backcourt in the history of the league. However, he picked Klay Thompson as the greatest shooter of all time, even though Curry’s impact on the league is undeniable.

“Steph Curry did change the league,” said Howard, via Brandon ‘Scoop B’ Robinson.

“We were playing Golden State in the playoffs when I was with the Rockets. Steph got injured for a couple of games. It was Klay’s turn. Bruh, I really thought we had a chance, but Klay couldn’t miss.”

That is an interesting take, more so knowing that a lot of people believe Steph is the greatest shooter of all time, while Klay belongs to the top 3. Well, Howard thinks otherwise. For him, Thompson is the greatest of all and he saw that firsthand when he was part of the Houston Rockets.

There is no doubt that the duo of Curry and Klay has made a big impact on the league since they teamed up in the Warriors, but Steph has become one of the biggest figures in the league in recent years. It’s odd to see somebody picking Klay over Curry, but that’s what Howard believes.

This season the Warriors didn’t have Thompson and Curry only played 5 games. Next season they will have the chance to compete again and D-12 and probably the Lakers will be waiting for them.
