The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted a lot of lives in recent times. Be it an athlete or a common person, the virus is not biased. If someone is not taking precautions and at times even doing so might result in them contracting the virus.

Former NBA player Cedric Ceballos has unfortunately been hospitalized due to catching the virus. He went on Twitter to give an update about his current condition, which is quite bad.

On my 10th day in ICU, COVID-19 is officially kicking my but, I am asking ALL family, friends, prayer warriors healers for your prayers and well wish for my recovery. If I have done and anything to you in the past, allow me to publicly apologize. My fight is not done….. Thx.”

Ceballos looks in a bad state, but he is yet to give up on this battle against COVID-19. he asked for prayers from everyone. He first contracted the virus on August 27 and is now admitted to the ICU.

Cedric asked everyone to grant him their good wishes to him. His wish was heard as many players and fans came forward to share their prayers and hope for a speedy recovery for the former NBA player.

The 52-year-old had a stellar career in the NBA. He was drafted by the Phoenix Suns, where he rose to be a solid player in the league. Following his stint with the Suns, he joined the Los Angeles Lakers where he earned the lone All-Star appearance of his career.

That sole All-Star appearance is the only accolade that Ceballos has on his resume. Later down his career, Cedric’s career derailed, and he retired from the league at just 31 years of age.

After his NBA career was over, he also appeared on the 30th season of the CBS show “The Amazing Race.” That’s pretty much it for his major appearances after retiring from the league.

Hopefully, the former NBA All-Star will win this battle against COVID-19 and returns to his home in good health. We wish Cedric Ceballos a quick recovery. If all goes well, the former NBA star should be relieved from the hospital soon.
