With Ja Morant officially back in action for the Grizzlies, the world wants answers on all the scandals that led up to his suspension.

Speaking with the media in his first game back, the Grizzlies star opened up about the situation but refused to admit any wrongdoing about the rumored confrontations…

“I said I had a role, but I didn’t say anything about doing anything wrong, still,” Morant said, via The New York Times. “So all those cases is sealed, so I can’t speak on those cases. When I have my time to, everybody will know the actual truth in every incident that I’ve been in.”

Remember, Ja’s Instagram Live outburst is just one of the various scandals that the young guard found himself in recently.

Over the past few months, there have been reports of violent or antagonistic behavior in various places, including a High School, a Footlocker store, and in his own city against an opposing team.

The NBA’s investigation could not prove the extent of Ja’s involvement in any of the situations, which is why he escaped with a relatively light sentence.

No. 12 clearly has his own version of events to share, but until the truth gets revealed, there are going to be questions about Morant’s leadership and maturity level at this stage of his career.

Can Ja Make Amends For His Mistakes?

Only time will tell us if Morant has truly changed from this experience, but the Grizzlies will need him to be better if they want to make a run in the playoffs.

Fortunately, it seems he has taken some accountability for his mistakes.

“Obviously, I’ve made mistakes in the past that cause a lot of negative attention — not only to me, but my family as well, my team, the organization — and I’m completely sorry for that,” said Morant, via ESPN. “So my job now is, like I said, to be more responsible, more smarter, and don’t cause any of that no more.”

Morant came off the bench in his first game back, but it won’t be long before he’s back in the starting lineup and taking the reigns again.

Let’s just hope he can stay out of trouble for a while…
