The Miami Heat have seen surprising levels of success this season. Even when considering the signing of Jimmy Butler and the emergence of Kendrick Nunn, Bam Adebayo is a huge part of the reason why.

Averaging 16 points, 10.6 rebounds, 5 assists, and 1.3 blocks per game, the 2020 All-Star is doing it all for the Heat — so much so, in fact, that his teammate Jimmy Butler called him a “future max player” after one particularly dominant performance on Sunday.

Bam’s impact goes beyond the state sheet. His presence on the floor stabilizes his team on both ends of the floor and provides a spark for his teammates. Similar to Butler, he’s an energy guy that will work every minute he’s on the floor.

Perhaps the best part of Bam’s play is that he’s still only just 22-years-old. With more experience and practice, one can only imagine what the future holds in store for the young star.

This season, though, he is focused on trying to win — one game at a time. When the playoffs begin this April, Bam and the Heat are sure to be a force to be reckoned with.
