Following an outstanding performance in Game 3, Jimmy Butler has made the headlines as he’s never done it. Not even his controversies earned him this type of attention, but Butler isn’t bothered about him. On Sunday night, he went off on the Los Angeles Lakers, recording a triple-double (40 points, 13 assists and 11 rebounds) to give the Miami Heat their first win in the 2020 NBA Finals.
Butler had a great game and many people consider it the best game of his life. Yet, true to his style, Jimmy doesn’t think the same. As a matter of fact, he was recently asked about the best game he’s had in his career and his response was surprising, to say the least. Talking with Five Reasons Sports Network, Jimmy B. revealed he once played against a bunch of 45-year-old and he absolutely dominated them in what he considers the best game of his life.
“Probably not. I was really good whenever I was in high school, and I played in this league against all 45-year-old men, and I really dominated, and I was 17. It’s up there, but back then I was killing them.”

Jimmy’s responses are always interesting and even more when he somehow plays down his own achievements. He’s saying that dropping a 40-point triple-double in an NBA Finals game doesn’t top beating a bunch of 45-year-old guys at the age of 17. Well, it is what it is.
Still, Jimmy will try to keep his good pace in Game 4, with the Heat keen to tie the series or go 3-1 down, which would be catastrophic for them.
