LeBron James And Richard Jefferson Casually Joke About Kyle Kuzma Being Traded

Richard Jefferson took a cheeky dig at Kyle Kuzma and his still uncertain future with the Los Angeles Lakers. The player has been linked with a move away from Los Angeles (and Lakers fans actually want him to go), but he’s not worried about that. Kuz has learned how to resist attacks but that hasn’t prevented people from joking with his departure from the purple and gold.

During a recent edition of the show Road Trippin’, Jefferson couldn’t help himself and named Kuzma as a former Laker while talking with LeBron James. The King was saluting the players that left the team this offseason and Jefferson added Kyle to the mix.

“I gotta give a shout-out to Danny Green, Rajon Rondo, Dwight Howard, JaVale McGee, and Quinn Cook,” James said.

Jefferson was quick to add, “Kuzma.” He later said, “Kuz, I am kidding, I am kidding.”

LeBron told him repeatedly to ‘shut up’, trying to hold his laughter.

This has been a recurrent topic around the league ever since Kuz was in the bubble with the team. His performances in Orlando were very poor and Lakers Nation isn’t happy with him. He vowed to change that narrative recently but as things stand now, not even the most optimistic Lakers fan wants Kuzma to be part of the team anymore.
