LeBron James On His Mindset Heading Into Game 4: “Until The Series Is Completed, I Kind Of Stay On Edge, Stay Locked In On The Job At Hand.”

Coming off their Game 3 loss to the Heat, the Los Angeles Lakers are looking to take a commanding lead in the series tonight for Game 4.

With the odds stacked in their favor, many see this as an opportunity for L.A. to assert their dominance and put themselves in a position to win the Championship on Thursday.

As for LeBron James, he is making sure to stay focused and locked-in for the mission ahead.

“Until the series is completed, I kind of stay on edge, stay locked in on the job at hand,” James said, via ESPN’s Dave McMenamin. “Obviously, no one wants to ever lose. You hate that feeling, especially when you know you didn’t play your best, and I definitely wasn’t at my best [Sunday] night from an individual standpoint. So I take that responsibility, and I take that with a lot of passion and understanding of how I can be much better in the following game.”

There is no doubt that the Lakers have been the better team all year long. The combined powers of Anthony Davis and LeBron James dominated the West, and they finished with the second-best record in the league.

But the job is not yet finished and the Lakers can’t afford to take their foot off the gas now. If this Miami team has proven anything over these past few weeks, it’s that they should not be counted out or underestimated.

Judging from James; recent comments, he doesn’t intend to make that mistake…
