LeBron James’ career has been terrific, to say the least. The Los Angeles Lakers superstar has become one of the greatest to ever do it and he’s not stopping in the near future. Ever since he entered the league, LeBron made it clear that he was bound to make big things in the association. Now, 18 years after he made his debut in the league, he’s still playing at the highest level, displaying all his level night in and night out.

James has been so great in the league that recently NBA TV compared his career with the San Antonio Spurs dynasty since 2003. The Spurs were a great team since 1999 and in 2003, things really took off for the Texans team.

The graphic shows the stats for Bron and the Spurs, with the King having very similar numbers to the team. In terms of games, Bron has tallied 1530 while San Antonio has played in 1578. The winning percentage is .663 for the King while the Spurs have .674%

San Antonio only has two more playoff appearances than LeBron, with 16 over 14. When it comes to championships, James has won 4 in his career while the Spurs won three over the last 18 years.

They clashed in the Finals three times, with the Spurs winning two duels and the King one, the famous series that involved the miraculous shot by Ray Allen in Game 6 of the 2013 NBA Finals.

LeBron felt flattered with this comparison, expressing his excitement to see how things worked for him. James is a complete legend and he’s not showing signs of slowing down. Those numbers could get better for him with the Los Angeles Lakers and he could add more postseason appearances and more championships to his already impressive résumé.

Even the Spurs congratulated him, showing their respect for the incredible career LeBron has had. His NBA tenure has seen him clash with the Spurs on several occasions and the team didn’t miss the chance to send him a big message.
