Shooting guard Malik Beasley was one of the players the Los Angeles Lakers got in return for Russell Westbrook at the 2023 trade deadline. Despite his elite 3PT shooting ability, the team decided to decline his option, and it seems as though Beasley has found a new team to call home.

A recent report from Shams Charania revealed that Malik Beasley has agreed on a one-year deal with the Milwaukee Bucks, with Adrian Wojnarowski clarifying that the deal is a veteran minimum $2.7 million. There is no doubt that he’ll have a lot of wide-open shots off of Giannis Antetokounmpo’s gravity, and he could be in line for a fantastic year.

“Free agent Malik Beasley has reached an agreement on a one-year deal with the Milwaukee Bucks, sources tell The Athletic and Stadium. Agent Brian Jungreis of Par-Lay Sports & Entertainment negotiated the contract.”

Malik Beasley will have a realistic chance of winning a championship with the Milwaukee Bucks, and a lot of 3PT shooters do well when playing next to Giannis Antetokounmpo. This is a good situation for Beasley, and he could end up signing a bigger long-term deal in next season’s free agency.

This past season, Malik Beasley averaged 12.7 PPG, 3.5 RPG, and 1.5 APG during his time with the Los Angeles Lakers and the Utah Jazz, shooting 35.7% from 3PT range. Hopefully, we see him thrive next season on the Bucks.
