Michael Jordan was all smiles, dancing with his wife Yvette Prieto, from their vacation earlier this summer. The video was shared by the saxophone player who went viral a few months ago for serenading Michael Jordan with the iconic Chicago Bulls intro song. Jordan looked to be having a great time while moving to the music.

This video comes from Jordan and Prieto’s recent vacation in Saint-Tropez. The couple were spotted numerous times with big smiles on their faces as they took in the sights, both on their feet and on a yacht. Jordan is one of the most reclusive figures on the planet, so any sighting of him immediately becomes noteworthy.

Recently, an influencer revealed what the process of going to a party hosted by Michael Jordan is like. Jordan takes several measures to make sure that no one he doesn’t want there can crash the party and doesn’t even share the location until mere hours before the event is about to start.

MJ is known for being very private and doesn’t have an active social media presence of his own. Oftentimes, fans confuse the Jordan brand account to be his personal social media handle.

However, Michael Jordan chooses to live a secluded lifestyle, which makes sense considering the amount of public scrutiny he underwent during his time in the NBA. Jordan was a media lightning rod, with several television shows and reporters consistently hounding him in order to receive a viewership or readership stimulus.

Michael Jordan’s Legacy Has Been Recently Questioned

Michael Jordan was partying without a single care in the world. However, there’s a storm in the media about him, as there have been a few people who have tried to paint his legacy in a different light in recent weeks.

It all started after Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards claimed that Jordan was the only skilled star of his era, and didn’t have much competition like the NBA does today.

Some people disputed these comments, like Jordan’s former teammate Ron Harper. However, there have been those who agree with Edwards and have even taken it one step forward.

Gilbert Arenas recently claimed that Michael Jordan never had to face a top-5 shooting guard in his career in the NBA, noting that MJ was so far ahead of every other player in his position that his dominance was to be expected.

If anything, the lack of competition Michael Jordan faced should be a testament to his greatness, not a weakness or flaw. Jordan was far ahead of the best player in the NBA for much of his career and was able to dominate opposition players handily.

Of course, teams would try to put their best defenders on him, even if it meant dealing with a positional mismatch. But that did very little to stop Jordan in the long run, as he would craftily find a way to get to the basket and make winning players for his team.

Fans can feel how they want to about Michael Jordan, and argue about the GOAT debate and LeBron James as much as they like. But to try and pretend that Jordan’s dominance wasn’t the reason for the league’s disparity compared to him would be quite foolish.
