Montrezl Harrell is ready to make his move to Washington after spending the last four years in Los Angeles. Trezz first played with the Clippers from 2017 through 2020. After that, he signed with the Lakers, with whom he had a complex relationship last season.
Now that he’s on his way to D.C., the big man took some time to say goodbye to the city of Los Angeles while shading some people he met and shouldn’t have along the way. Harrell shared a curious Instagram story revealing he was packing his stuff to start the next chapter in his career.
(Edited for clarity)
Finish up packing in LA. Was a fun run, I met some good people and I met people I shouldn’t have ever knew. You live and you learn, though. Next chapter of my story will be one for books!

Trezz will join the Wizards alongside Kyle Kuzma and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope. These three were traded in the Russell Westbrook move that sent the 2017 NBA MVP to Los Angeles.
Harrell could also be talking about somebody he met during his time with the Clippers. Still, knowing his immediate prior team are the Lakers, it’s hard to think he’s talking about somebody on a different team.
The big man had some complaints during the 2021/22 season, especially with his playing time. A change of environment can be really helpful for Trezz, Kuz, and KCP. These three can help the Wizards thrive in the Eastern Conference after a very entertaining offseason.
