Marcus Morris Calls Out NBA 2K For Giving Paul George An 88 Overall Rating In 2K23: “Dude Seriously Cold… Y’all Gotta Respect What He’s Doing And Done.”

Paul George is one of the best forwards in the league today, and there is no doubt that he’s one of the top superstars in the league. He is an elite two-way player, capable of guarding multiple positions defensively while also being an elite three-level scorer and playmaker. Last season, Paul George averaged 24.3 PPG, 6.9 RPG, and 5.7 APG.

There is no doubt that Paul George has received a lot of criticism during his career, especially after his perceived failures in the playoffs. Despite his talent, it seems as though fans and analysts constantly disrespect his basketball ability. It seems as though he is also disrespected in 2K23.

Marcus Morris Is Not Happy With Paul George’s Rating In 2K23

With every single edition of NBA 2K, people are left unhappy with some of the ratings. It is inevitable that this ends up happening, as some players will likely get snubbed in favor of others.

Recently, Marcus Morris called out NBA 2K and Ronnie 2K for giving Paul George a low rating, claiming that the forward is “seriously cold”, and telling them to “respect what he’s done”.

@NBA2K @Ronnie2K I know my rating low but y’all got PG messed up. Dude seriously cold! I love the young players in the league but y’all gotta respect what he’s done and doing smh!

@NBA2K
@Ronnie2K I know my rating low but y’all got PG messed up. Dude seriously cold! I love the young players in the league but y’all gotta respect what he’s done and doing smh!

Paul George has an 88 overall in 2K23 officially, which would make him the No. 22 player in the NBA. Obviously, that might be a little low, as Paul George is elite on both ends of the floor and is capable of dropping 25 points every night and guarding the best opposing perimeter player on defense. His rating should definitely receive a slight bump.

Obviously, 2K23 ratings are fluid, and they frequently change during the year based on players’ performances. It is quite likely that we’ll see Paul George’s rating increase during the year if he continues to play at an All-NBA level.

It is clear that Paul George is one of the most underrated players in the league, both in 2K23 and otherwise. He was recently left off The Athletic’s list of Hall of Fame locks, which is insane to think about based on what George has managed to accomplish in the league.

Hopefully, we see Paul George thrive next season with the Los Angeles Clippers. He is key to them contending next season, and if George can find a way to stay in rhythm even when Kawhi Leonard returns, the Los Angeles Clippers should be a dangerous team in the Western Conference.
