NBA Fans Roast 2K21 Because Of Luka Doncic’s Face

2 Min Read

NBA 2K21 released at midnight with not so much expectations as prior installments of the game, but fans are still buying the game to see if they can get something good off the game and not the regular stuff they saw in the trailer and demo.

Fans always make sure to let the developers know how they feel about the game, especially in recent years when the quality has been lower, according to gamers. This edition doesn’t seem to be an exception and fans already started putting 2K on blast as soon as they saw the face scan of some of the best players in the game.

One Twitter post showed the faces of LeBron James, Stephen Curry, Damian Lillard and Luka Doncic. They asked 2K to stop capping LeBron’s hairline and update Curry’s braids but the face that caught the most attention was Luka Doncic’s.

The gifted point guard looks older than he actually is, with different factions. Obviously, fans didn’t let this go away and they started mocking and calling out the company for this.

There were low expectations around this game; the coronavirus pandemic made it hard for developers to work as they wanted too, the NBA suspension didn’t allow them to update rosters and that will hurt the sales for the first couple of months.

However, fans were mad at the company after seeing the trailer and the demo of the game, calling it an update of NBA 2K20. They didn’t make any change that enchanted the fans and now seeing the response to one of the most famous faces in the league, you know the community will blame them for making the ‘minimum effort.’

To be honest, Luka’s face looks like they tried to attach Boban’s face to Doncic’s head.
