In NBA 2K14, Giannis Antetokounmpo And Khris Middleton Were Rated 60 Overall

2 Min Read

Closing in on his second-straight NBA MVP, Giannis Antetokounmpo has led the Bucks to the best record in the NBA and they are favored to represent the East in the NBA Finals this year. His running mate, Khris Middleton, has also carried a significant load as one of the league’s best pure scorers. His 21 point per game average this season helped secure his second0straight All-Star appearance.

But for as good as things are for the Bucks, things haven’t always been that way.

Perhaps nothing reflects that more than NBA 2K14, when Giannis and Middleton were rated 60 overall.

NBA 2k14 released in October of 2013. The season prior, LeBron had won his second title with the Heat, the Knicks were the second seed in the East, and the Golden State Warriors had yet to win a title with Steph Curry.

As for Giannis, Middleton, and the Bucks, they weren’t what they are now. Middleton was averaging 6.1 points per game, Giannis was a rookie who had yet to play a single game, and the Bucks were dead last in the East with a 15-67 record.

It’s fair to say they’ve come a long way now. Today, the Bucks are the best team in the NBA, and both Giannis and Middleton are among the best players. They’re both expected to be rated pretty high in the newest installment of the 2k series. As for the real-life court, the hope is that they can end this season with something to show for their efforts — and we’ll see soon enough how they fare in that mission.
