NBA Analyst Blasts The Clippers: “There Is Nothing, Zero, That Shows This Clippers Team Can Contend Late In Games. There Are Contestants On The Bachelor That Have A Better Chance At The Ring Than The LA Clippers.”

The Los Angeles Clippers look much better now under Tyronn Lue to what they did under Doc Rivers. They added some interesting pieces in Serge Ibaka and Nicolas Batum and are currently on top of the Los Angeles Lakers with a 22-10 record and the 2nd seed in the Western Conference.

However, even though the team looks more solid and has played some nice basketball as of late, it seems like they can’t shake off their struggles to close out games, and no lead seems safe when they’re playing, no matter how big it is.

That’s why Fox Sports’ Jason McIntyre still isn’t sold on the Clippers as true contenders to make the NBA Finals. In fact, he went as far as to call them fraudulent and criminally overrated:

“There is nothing, zero, that shows this Clippers team can contend late in games. There are contestants on The Bachelor that have a better chance at the ring than the Los Angeles Clippers. This team is criminally overrated and so fraudulent,” McIntyre said on Undisputed.

That’s a bit of a stretch by Jason McIntyre if you ask me. Yes, the Clippers have yet to prove that they can get the job done when it matters the most and they have a long history of underperforming, but hey, so far, so good… Am I right?

The Clipper shave beaten some contending teams with great execution down the stretch. They’ve also lost some winnable games but that’s what you have to endure on a 72-game season. So I guess we’ll just have to wait and see whether they learned from their past mistakes or not.
