NBA Executive On Danny Ainge And The Boston Celtics: “Look At The Track Record. Danny’ll Get Them Back, Just When You Don’t See It Coming…”

Just a season after making an appearance in the Eastern Conference Finals, the Boston Celtics have fallen flat this season, boasting a 23-24 record to stand at 7th place.

Amid major inconsistent performances by much of the team, many have questioned the state of the roster and what might be in store for their future.

For one anonymous executive, however, he remains confident that Ainge will get the Celtics back on track.

“Look at the track record. He got KG when nobody thought he could. . . flipped KG, PP to BKN for the reboot. Danny’ll get them back, just when you don’t see it coming, like this summer.”

An anonymous executive says Danny Ainge will get Boston back on track

The Celtics are always a team that stays competitive, and when they “rebuild’ it’s usually not for very long. From Bill Russell to Larry Bird to the Paul Pierce “Big Three,” to Isaiah Thomas and, finally, the Tatum and Brown duo, they’ve had numerous stars lead successful eras for the franchise, resulting in an NBA-high 17 Championships for the club.

So, while it’s easy to doubt their direction now, history says we should trust this team to get their act together. For Danny Ainge, who has been working his magic since 2003. Perhaps it’s about time we give him the benefit of the doubt?
