NBA basketball players are often extremely tall, towering over regular human beings. Even amongst other athletes, they can look like giants, and that comparison was on display today.

A recent photo of Real Madrid star Eden Hazard and Utah Jazz star Rudy Gobert went viral. It is clear that Rudy Gobert was at the Champions League Final to watch Real Madrid face off against Liverpool. Star LeBron James was also notably at the game to watch Liverpool play.

A lot of fans reacted to the photo of the two stars, with many noting just how taller Rudy Gobert was than Eden Hazard. There is no doubt that it is crazy to think about just how tall Rudy Gobert is over a man that is of average height. (Eden Hazard is 5’9″):

Both players are generally considered among the better players in their sport historically. While Eden Hazard hasn’t been able to produce a lot for Real Madrid, he has had some amazing seasons in the past. Meanwhile, Rudy Gobert continues to be one of the best defensive players in the league in the NBA, and he has three Defensive Player of the Year awards to prove it.

Hopefully, both players have successful seasons next year. Rudy Gobert’s Utah Jazz were eliminated by the Dallas Mavericks in the playoffs, and it looks as though there might be some big changes on the horizon. There have been rumors that Rudy Gobert might get traded to the Toronto Raptors.

Perhaps we will end up seeing the duo meet up once again in the future at another sporting event. Perhaps it will end up being at another Champions League Final, but obviously, that will only happen if Real Madrid makes it once again.
