Boston Restaurant Taunted Ayesha Curry Before Steph Torched Celtics In Game 4: “Ayesha Curry Can’t Cook.”

The NBA Finals between the Golden State Warriors and the Boston Celtics promised a lot of things and so far it has delivered on a lot of those fronts. The series has seen tenacious team play from the Celtics, especially on the defensive end, while Stephen Curry is putting on shooting clinics in almost every game it feels like.

The two teams are knotted up at 2-2 going into Game 5 and after a lot of people said that the series would go to 7 games, it looks like that might just happen after all as well. The one thing perhaps people didn’t expect is a mini-beef between Celtics fans and the wives of Warriors stars.

Draymond Green’s wife, Hazel, called out Celtics fans after the chants of abusing Dray in Game 3 at TD Garden. And while that wasn’t taken to heart by too many, one restaurant in Boston seemingly tried to roast Ayesha Curry, putting up a board saying Ayesha Curry can’t cook, which led to some hilarious reactions by fans that would prove to be prophetic for Game 4.

“Steph the real chef anyway.”

“But Steph can cook the Celtics.”

“Curry gonna take this personally.”

“They just unlocked Killer Steph.”

“Time to give em the business, Steph!”

“All that’s gon do is make curry drop like 53 with like 9 or 10 made 3’s.”

“Might as well bet on a Steph explosion in Game 4.”

“Boston fans asking for their team to get turned into bbq chicken.”

“Steph not gonna let this slide.”

“Ayoo, they wrong for this one.”

“Don’t be riling up Steph, careful what you wish for.”

Well, most of those fans were right. Curry went for 43 points and 10 rebounds, a monster performance, all things considered. While it’s unlikely that he saw this particular piece of trash talk, Steph looks like a man on a mission during these finals as he chases the 4th ring of his career and his first-ever Finals MVP.
