The Los Angeles Lakers have not been a good team this season, and there’s no doubt that they are a team that has a long way to go before they make the playoffs. Though they have two extremely talented players in LeBron James and Anthony Davis, it is clear that the team needs to fill out the rest of the roster to truly get far in the Western Conference.

Charles Barkley has recently roasted the Los Angeles Lakers, saying that they “stink”, and joking that the NBA forces the media to “show them all the time like they’re going to be good”.

“The Lakers stink. [The NBA] forcing us to show them all the time like they’re going to be good. There’s a conspiracy. We got all these clowns on television have to talk about them every day… The Lakers are awful.”

There is no doubt that the Los Angeles Lakers have played poorly, but the good news for the team is that they still have plenty of time to turn their season around. They have improved as of late, and we’ll see what happens in the future.

The Los Angeles Lakers Could Still Make The Playoffs If Anthony Davis Continue Dominating

There is no doubt that Anthony Davis has been playing at a high level as of late. In fact, he has been dominating on both ends of the floor. Perhaps his play can spur the Los Angeles Lakers to the playoffs, and Paul Pierce has recently predicted that the team could easily make the postseason if Anthony Davis plays like this consistently.

This is the Version of Anthony Davis everyone was waiting to see . His ability says he’s capable of it ,but we all questioned his mentality. Yo AD ain’t no going back now blood. KG mentality rest of season , if so Lakers easily a playoff Team also hope u stay healthy

Hopefully, we see the Los Angeles Lakers get back to the postseason. They definitely have the talent to do so, and perhaps they could even make a trade this season to help with that pursuit. They are a veteran team that needs to maximize LeBron James and Anthony Davis.

It remains to be seen how the Los Angeles Lakers will do for the rest of the season. If Anthony Davis remains healthy and consistent though, they could be one of the teams to make a deep run provided that they make it to the postseason.
