LeBron James might find himself in a completely different situation, as the Los Angeles Lakers superstar has been linked with a move away from the 17-time NBA champions, and many teams appear to be interested in acquiring his services.

In recent days, the Golden State Warriors and Miami Heat were landed as potential landing spots for LeBron, but these are only rumors. In the middle of that, he keeps displaying his great game, going off against rivals, even dropping a 47-piece against the Atlanta Hawks on his birthday.

While LeBron keeps thriving, more teams appear to be joining this apparent race, and Colin Cowherd just dropped one name that could be really interesting for Bron. It’s not like he’ll leave the Lakers for sure, but his recent comments make people think he might be getting tired of his current situation.

Colin Cowherd Explains Why LeBron James Should Join The Dallas Mavericks

During a recent edition of the Colin Cowherd Podcast, the analyst claimed that Bron should go to Dallas and join forces with Luka Doncic. Cowherd claims that LeBron probably won’t leave the Lakers, but he still might (1:05 mark).

“I think he’s a perfect fit with Luka Doncic, who has an unbelievably high usage rate that like James Harden will wear him down in the postseason, he’s a one-man offense, and those kinds of offenses do not succeed in the playoffs. And Luka is too ball dominant, too usage dominant; he needs somebody to create open, easier shots and LeBron is perfect. But next year, LeBron is one year older, I doubt Dallas is giving the Lakers a lot in return.”

Then Cowherd reminded people that LeBron put himself in this position with all the choices he made over the years, including Anthony Davis and Russell Westbrook. Colin thinks that LeBron is just using the team’s bad moments as a strategy to get more players that can help him.

The Lakers don’t seem to be in a rush to make these moves, and they will probably play out this season with their current roster. That decision won’t please the King, which is a big reason why he could join the Mavericks, the Warriors, or the Heat next year.
