Ja Morant is a beast in the Western Conference, he has fully ascended as the leading man on a top-seeded team. The Memphis Grizzlies are playing at an elite level and Morant is their superstar. He has the stats to back himself up, but that’s not all, Morant is a proper superstar in that he has the highlights to back himself up as well.

Ja Morant showed out on Saturday night as the Memphis Grizzlies beat the Indiana Pacers to improve to a 29-13 record. The team won convincingly, but it was punctuated by one of the best dunks of the year from Ja Morant. He is no stranger to highlighting blocks and dunks, but even by his lofty standards, this poster was one to remember.

Ja got past his man on the perimeter as he does with startling ease and then detonated on Jalen Smith. It was the sort of dunk that would make anyone watching put their hands on their mouth. The reactions to the play showed that it was awe-inspiring even for those that do things like this daily. Kevin Durant took to social media to respond to the highlight, and he wasn’t the only one.

“OH MY GOD!!!! Man what’s wrong with you @jamorant”

LeBron James was in disbelief over what Morant had done, posting about it on his story. LeBron James knows a thing or two about throwing it down, he has some of the most legendary dunks in NBA history to his name. But even the King was blown away by Ja’s athletic feat, posting one more story about it later.

LeBron James Hilariously Used A Pic Of Ziaire Williams’ Reaction To Drive Home His Awe At Ja Morant’s Dunk

Witnessing something like that is not something that can lead to a small reaction, it’s safe to say that Ja Morant’s teammates had the biggest reactions to his dunk. Ziaire Williams was on the court and his immediate response was captured by the cameras and used by LeBron James to further drive home his point.

“Me too, Zaire!! Me too!!”

LeBron James ended up misspelling Ziaire Willaims’ name but his point about what Ja Morant did stands. If he continues to play at this level, even MVP conversations aren’t too far for Ja, who continues to get better in every game that he plays. And hopefully, he has a lot more of these highlights in store for us before this season ends.
