Besides his smooth transition from being a star to a role player, Vince Carter was known for more than that in the NBA. The Toronto Raptors legend is widely considered the greatest dunker in league history, with due reason, as he was ruthless when attacking the rim and didn’t hesitate to put people on posters.

Even outside the NBA, Carter was a menace for his defenders, posting one of the most disrespectful dunks of all time in the 2000 Summer Olympic Games, making it clear he could dominate at every and any stage.

Vince’s dunks have reached a status that no other player could get, and one fan recently summed up this with a hilarious joke regarding Carter and his impressive dunks. Instagram page ‘hangtimeheadlines’ shared a short but fun video explaining why Carter used to carry an EpiPen in his pockets even during games.

“Do you know the reason why Vince Carter always carried an EpiPen in his pocket even during games? Well, he was actually so concerned about players’ safety that he wanted to always make sure he had a backup option in case his opponent was allergic to nuts.”

Many fans reacted to the joke, some realizing the real meaning behind it and others just laughing because that would have made a lot of sense.

Vince Carter was and will be the greatest dunker of all time for a long time, and his legend only gets bigger when people come up with these ideas. He’s now doing different stuff, always related to the NBA, but there’s no doubt that the biggest reason why we’ll remember him is his dunks.
