NBA Fans Debate After Shaquille O’Neal Asks Them About What Single Cuisine They Would Eat For The Rest Of Their Life: “BBQ Chicken”

2 Min Read

Shaquille O’Neal isn’t just one of the greatest basketball players of all time, he is one of the greatest businessmen to come out of the game as well. While everybody focuses on the billionaire status attained by Michael Jordan and LeBron James, Shaq isn’t slouching either. He is one of the most recognizable athletes in the world and has brand deals all over the globe, making him a certified international icon.

As a result of being a worldwide star as both a basketball player and then a media figure, Shaq has seen the world over and experienced different cultures across the planet. The first thing we associate with culture is what food they eat and whether it is good. Shaq took that discussion further on Twitter, asking people what is the 1 cuisine they’d eat for the rest of their lives.

The answers that NBA fans have been flooding Shaq’s responses are surprisingly tame, with most people just answering the question as is and genuinely sharing their favorite cuisines in the world. The responses were incredibly diverse.

Food is incredibly subjective for everyone, so it is surprising that there weren’t more arguments in the replies. People actually just expressed their opinion and most conversations were extremely civil.

Shaq has multiple investments in food-based ventures. He recently bought a house in Dallas to start the expansion of his ‘Big Chicken‘ franchise in the area. The restaurant has received a massive commitment from Shaq, who wants to make it a success in the Texas area before trying to take it all across the country.

Since his retirement, Shaq has gotten deep into the food business. Outside ‘Big Chicken’, Shaq reportedly owns 19 Auntie Anne’s Pretzels and 9 Papa John’s restaurants. He once owned 155 Five Guys stores but would sell them for a huge profit later on.
