NBA Fans React To The Los Angeles Lakers Having The NBA’s Longest Active Winning Streak: “Can’t Believe They’re Doing This Without AD”

Perhaps no NBA fan was surprised when the Los Angeles Lakers got off to a horrific 2-10 start this season. Despite the big names on their roster, it was clear that the team was lacking three-point shooting as well as good size outside of Anthony Davis. Both problems have very much haunted them, but things are now looking up for the Los Angeles franchise.

LeBron James has made it amply clear recently that he isn’t happy with the state of the roster. His most recent comments, as reported by The Athletic suggest that James wants the team to get him some more help. With the front office a little apprehensive about making big moves, though, it’s hard to see the situation changing too much as well.

Despite this, they have won their last 5 games. During that time, LeBron James has been on an incredible run by himself, but so has the team. They have found something of a formula, and it’s been working. They hung 130 points on the Atlanta Hawks two times during this run. And after the Dallas Mavericks lost to Boston recently, the Lakers find themselves with the longest active win streak in the NBA.

NBA Fans Can’t Believe The Lakers Own The League’s Longest Winning Streak Right Now

Many thought that after Anthony Davis went down for a significant amount of time that things would only go downhill for the Lakers. However, LeBron James has been carrying once again, while key players like Russell Westbrook and Dennis Schroder have turned up as well. And their 5-game win streak has proved a lot of people wrong, something fans on social media.

“They creeping up on that 8th seed.”

“Who can stop Los Angeles Lakers?!?!”

“They’re starting to get it together.”

“Please tell me the Lakers have finally figured out how to win.”

“This is amazing, the Lakers are going to be a problem again.”

“All of this is thanks to LeBron James.”

“I’m amazed at what’s happening.”

“I don’t know if they can keep this up.”

“Lake Show is back on it’s feet.”

“I need the Lakers to shut everyone up, goddamn.”

“This is beautiful to watch. More please.”

“I can’t believe they’re doing this without AD.”

Their next three games will be a true litmus test for this resurgence the Lakers have enjoyed. They will play the Denver Nuggets, Dallas Mavericks, and Philadelphia 76ers during this time, all really good teams. If the Lakers can get 2 wins out of those somehow, then people will start to believe in something special happening.
