Bryant had an illustrious career in the NBA. He spent 20 years with the Los Angeles Lakers and won five titles with the organization. As a result, it’s no surprise that fans have a special place reserved in their hearts for Kobe.
Speaking of that, today, i.e., August 23, Bryant would have turned 43 years old. Unfortunately, he is not with us, but fans and players sent their wishes on Twitter.

It is quite obvious that Kobe Bean Bryant had an immense presence worldwide. In fact, right after he passed away, the NBA paid a tribute for the legend, where numerous NBA stars talked about what he meant to the game of basketball.
The Los Angeles Lakers made it their mission to win the 2019-20 NBA championship in his memory. They succeeded and won it for Kobe. Another tribute the team paid to their legend was releasing customized Black Mamba jerseys.
Let’s take a look at the amazing career of Kobe on this day. For starters, he won five titles for the LA Lakers.
While during the first three titles, he was more of an athletic freak and a bit reckless, later down his career, Bryant became more mature.
Moreover, his mamba mentality is something that can never be forgotten. When people questioned his ability to carry a team to the NBA championship on his own, he didn’t lash out but let his game speak for him.
He won not one but two back-to-back championships in ’09 and ’10. Truly establishing himself as one of the greatest players to ever grace the game of basketball.
If we start talking about his accolades, it would take forever to finish.
It is a fact that Kobe was one of a kind and there won’t be another Kobe Bryant ever. What’s your favorite Kobe moment? Let us know in the comments section.
