Skip Bayless And Shannon Sharpe Finally Agree: “Dwyane Wade Is The Best Teammate LeBron Has Ever Played With”

2 Min Read

Anthony Davis is no doubt a huge part of the reason why the L.A. Lakers have been so successful this season. At 35-years-old, LeBron James has had to lean on him more now than any other teammate in his career.

Last night, Bron admitted that AD was among the greatest teammates he has ever had, and many were quick to agree. But when it comes to guys like Wade and Irving, where does Davis rank? If he the greatest teammate James has ever had?

On Undisputed, Skip Bayless and Shannon Sharpe insisted that only DWade deserves that title.

Wade was already over 30 by the time James landed in Miami and he had already earned multiple All-Star appearances, a scoring title, and an NBA Championship in 2006.

Despite him taking on a “sidekick” role with the Heat, he averaged 22.4 points, 5.3 rebounds and 4.7 assists in 239 games for the Heat with LeBron James.

It is true that those averages are low when compared to AD’s, but it was Wade who taught James how to win and Wade who was there to step up in the most important moments for those “Big Three” years for Miami.

There is no doubt that Davis deserves enormous credit for his play in L.A. this season, but perhaps we need to see a bit more before we start comparing him to Dwyane Tyrone Wade.
