The NBA suspension was something impactful for everybody, fans and players included. However, not everybody did the same thing during these months of quarantine, while some players got loose, others got to work to return to action the best way.

The league is set to resume next July 31 and some players have shown the incredible shape they will have when the moment of playing again arrives. Some of them look jacked while others are boasting a skinny figure in recent pictures.

James Harden

The Beard went from beefy to skinny during the first three months of the NBA hiatus. He revealed he’s doing a lot of cardio and the results are incredible. Even his teammate Austin Rivers warned the rest of the league, be ready because Skinny Harden is coming for everybody.

Nikola Jokic

If we talk about skinny, this is another example of players who went from chubby to slim. The Denver Nuggets center 284 lbs at the start of the season and seeing the recent pictures, he’s reduced the number drastically. Talk about getting in shape and taking advantage of the NBA suspension. Jokic completely transformed his body and the Nuggets can’t be happier about it.

Russell Westbrook

Russ is one of the most athletic players in NBA history, but he doesn’t stop looking for the next level. The Houston Rockets point guard has been training without any rest since the NBA suspension and the results are very promising for the Rockets. He’s added muscle to his body, so while skinny Harden is on his way, jacked Westbrook will join him.

LeBron James never thought about taking some rest from taking care of his body. He has maintained himself focused and ready to go. Bron has always prioritized his body health and this NBA hiatus has been the biggest proof of that. It’s not a fluke that this guy still dominates the league at age 35, in his 17th season. He’s doing everything to keep his shape and continue his quest to win the title with the Lakers.

Marc Gasol

Marc Gasol has also gotten to work and he’s showing an improved body in recent days. According to Raptors coach Nick Nurse, Marc has focused on getting lighter so he can be more agile in his position. ”It is good. I mean, I’ve seen Marc myself many times on some Zoom calls and most of all just his face in there,” Nick Nurse said. “So I thought it probably reduced a little.”

Kyle Lowry

Ben Simmons

Ben Simmons really took advantage of the lockdown. The Philadelphia 76ers point guard was recovering from an injury at the time the league suspended the season. Well, the Aussie player didn’t miss time, started to lift the weights, and now looks jacked. The Sixers missed their star and now looking at his body, they have reasons to believe the team can compete for the East.

These guys really put to work. This season was expected to be a great one; after the coronavirus outbreak forced the league to suspend it, most players saw that as an opportunity to improve their bodies and make a bigger case for the Larry O’Brien trophy this season.
