Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving are one of the best star duos in the league currently. Both are incredible scorers who can create their own shots at will. While the Brooklyn Nets only finished as the 7th seed, it is clear that they are a dangerous team with those two present.

Recently, Tracy McGrady has claimed that the Kyrie Irving-Kevin Durant duo is more skilled than the LeBron James-Dwyane Wade duo in Miami. There is no doubt that this will likely be viewed as a very controversial take by many, as James and Wade have won multiple championships together.

Tracy McGrady says Kyrie & Kevin Durant are more skilled than LeBron and D-Wade & Jordan and Pippen 👀

There is no other dynamic duo that compares to KD and Kyrie. Even what you look at what LeBron and D-Wade was, skill-wise, they’re still not touching than them two boys.

Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant are without a doubt skilled and unique players. There are no players in the league currently that can replicate what those two do on the basketball floor in terms of shot creation. However, skill also comes in different forms, and LeBron James and Dwyane Wade were definitely skilled in their own right, as they were effective slashers who were able to get the most out of their athleticism.

Right now, the goal for Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant will be to try and upset the Boston Celtics to try and get to the second round of the playoffs. They were almost able to pull off an upset in Game 1 but were stymied by Jayson Tatum’s buzzer-beating layup, which ended up being the first buzzer-beater at home in Celtics history.

It remains to be seen if Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving will win any championships together. There is no doubt that they have the talent to do so, and perhaps one day we will end up talking about them as the most skilled duo of all time.
