NBA Rumors: Lakers Could Target Avery Bradley If He Gets Bought Out By Rockets

While Thursday’s deadline was the last chance for teams to make trades this season, it doesn’t mean we won’t see some more player movement for the rest of this campaign.

As the dust settles, we’ll see some players get bought out or even released by their teams — LaMarcus Aldridge has already become one of them.

Avery Bradley, a 3-and-D wing, could be another, and the L.A. Lakers might look to bring him back if the opportunity arises.

“A name to monitor as the Lakers look to fill their final roster spots: Avery Bradley. He was traded to HOU from MIA today. Rockets already have logjam of guards to back up John Wall. Bradley, a former Pelinka client, made strong impression on LAL before opting out of the bubble,” McMenamin reports.

Bradley, 30, isn’t the player he was in Boston, but still has a lot of gas left in the tank. When LeBron James and Anthony Davis eventually return, he’ll thrive in a pressure-free role with an abundance of open looks.

This season, he’s averaging 8.5 points, 1.8 rebounds, and 1.4 assists on 47% shooting.
