The Boston Celtics have listed Jrue Holiday and Al Horford as questionable in their injury report for Wednesday’s clash with the Los Angeles Clippers, and Los Angeles Lakers fans aren’t happy about that. The Celtics take on the Lakers on Thursday and the fans are convinced that Holiday and Horford are resting for that game.

“I think people forget how bad Bron used to be beating all of these dudes a** lmao. This is definitely their get-back since he’s on his last days. I’m not mad at them,” one fan thinks players are looking for revenge against LeBron James.

“Classic move.. rest up for the Clippers, but gotta suit up for the Lakers,” one said this has been the classic move for players.

“Not even surprised,” one fan is not the least bit surprised.

“Never fails. They got to get that rest and be ultra-ready and healthy for the Lakers due to it being Game 7,” one stated that the players as usual need that rest for their Game 7.

“Every since Kobe left, teams have been just getting their get-backs because the Lakers have been kicking a** for decades up until Kobe left,” one fan thinks players are taking revenge because Kobe Bryant used to beat them.

“N***as actually we were joking when we say this s***,” one called out opposing fans who thought this was a joke.

“Of course, we’re everybody’s Game 7,” one fan believes the Lakers are everyone’s Game 7.

“Players know they can get their game off on us… And I hate it. We’re softer than babys*** on defense,” one fan thinks this is down to players knowing they can put up big numbers against the Lakers.

“What do you expect everybody hates the Lakers,” one puts this down to hatred of the Lakers.

“I’m sick of this s*** man,” one fan is tired of players and teams doing this.

Lakers fans are convinced that players are intentionally doing this. One of the more notable examples they keep bringing up was what Bradley Beal did at the start of the campaign. Beal played against the Lakers on Dec. 25 and Dec. 28 but missed games against the Dallas Mavericks on Dec. 26 and the Clippers on Dec. 31.

Bradley Beal

You’d understand their frustrations over Beal there. As for the Celtics, well it’s not out of the ordinary what they’re doing here.

Horford, listed as dealing with a left big toe sprain, and Kristaps Porzingis haven’t played both games of back-to-backs this season, with the Celtics opting to stagger them, for the most part. With Porzingis not being on the injury report for the Clippers, he likely won’t play against the Lakers. If the Latvian does indeed miss the game, that would hurt the conspiracy argument.

As for Holiday, he is listed as dealing with right shoulder impingement. The 35-year-old has been playing through it for a while now and has already missed time due to it. Holiday potentially missing one game in a back-to-back because of an actual issue is hardly scandalous.

So, neither the players nor the Celtics should really be accused of any sort of foul play or conspiracy here.
