BIG3 is a 3-on-3 basketball league, with mostly retired NBA players. The league was co-created by Ice Cube and entertainment executive Jeff Kwatinetz. The games are played with only half a court with teams of usually around 6 – 8.
This year’s roster involves new stars Metta World Peace, Baron Davis and Amare Stoudemire. However, with the championships about to come on the 24th, we will be wondering if more Ex-NBA players will participate in the BIG3
Kobe Bryant
If the BIG3 were to actually acquire Kobe in the 2019 season, the whole league will blow up and become so much more popular. The Laker legend would dominate in the BIG3 with his offensive skillset and will most likely lead the league in points. A fan favorite for many NBA fans and getting Kobe to the BIG3 will change the league completely.
Kevin Garnett
The intensity this power forward brings to the game is unreal. He is a machine and will hype up the game and bring some real competition. He would make the first rivalry in the BIG3 and add some trash talk to the league. Using his physicality, he will power through opponents in the key.
Tim Duncan
The big fundamental retired in 2016 playing 19 seasons with the Spurs, becoming arguably the best power forward ever. The 42-year-old won five championships in his career and could add more titles in the BIG3. He always shows up in the Playoffs, winning three finals MVPs. He could bring the infamous bank shot to the BIG3, schooling anyone in the low post.
Tracy McGrady
Tracy McGrady had one the best hot streaks in NBA history against the Spurs when he scored 13 points in 30 seconds and won the game. A pure scorer and can match up to guys like Kobe Bryant and Michael Jordan in his prime. McGrady might still be able to show off his athleticism in the BIG3, creating highlight reel dunks over defenders.

Paul Pierce
The Truth is one the most clutch shooters we have ever seen, scoring multiple game winners in the playoffs for The Celtics. A very underrated shooter and would fit straight into any BIG3 team. Paul Pierce retired in 2017 and is probably still in decent shape. An NBA champion, 10x All-Star, 3-point champion, he would dominate the BIG3.
Ice Cube and BIG3 are looking to recruit more Ex-NBA stars into the league to branch out and gather more fans. Metta World Peace Baron Davis and Amare Stoudemire are new great additions to the league and if they were able to get one of the superstars above to play next season, BIG3 will be very entertaining.
