Nikola Jokic is one win away from completing an incredible championship triumph for the Denver Nuggets that likely ends with him being crowned Finals MVP. The Serbian center has endeared fans to his quiet personality away from the spotlight, with quirky interests and hobbies being a departure from what modern NBA stars enjoy.

Jokic is a big lover of horses and declared that no matter the outcome of the Finals, he will be buying another horse in the summer.

Malika Andrews: “If you win are you gonna get another horse?”

Nikola Jokic: “Probably, even if I lose.”

The Heat can’t be counted out even though they are down 3-1 because of their gritty nature that will make sure the team goes down fighting. No title is won easily, so the Nuggets have one last win to complete a historic season that ends with their first championship in franchise history. Game 5 will be the most important game in the franchise’s history.

Nikola Jokic Entering The Conversation Of All-Time Greats

With a title win, Jokic will have won everything he possibly could have and still have at least half a decade of dominance left in him. He is averaging 30.8 points, 13.5 rebounds, and 8.0 assists in the Finals and 30.1 points, 13.3 rebounds, and 9.8 assists in the playoffs, as the Nuggets have lost four games as compared to winning 15. One more win and the Larry O’Brien trophy will be theirs to hold

Even though his offseason will likely be spent tending to his horses, Jokic has established his name among his generation’s best players. The 28-year-old still has years ahead of him and is seemingly in the middle of his prime.

There’s no telling what else he can achieve and definitely earn a spot among the top-5 centers of all time. With players like Shaquille O’Neal, Hakeem Olajuwon, Wilt Chamberlain, Bill Russell, and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar in that conversation, Jokic will have to have a sensational few years.
