Lakers superstar LeBron James may be untouchable on the basketball court, but he’s fair game for trolling on the internet.

This past weekend, James was the star of a hilarious moment in the middle of his game against the Magic. After going up for a dunk, Wendell Carter Jr. lost his goggles, which went flying in the direction of the King.

As you probably guessed, James took it upon himself to try them on and it made for a wildly entertaining moment.

Of course, the story doesn’t end there.

After the clip got posted on Twitter, the team’s Twitter responded with a slight shot at James.

“Highly recommend these after seeing 3 rims out there.”

The reference dates back to a play-in game in May when James took a finger in the eye from Draymond Green. There, after nailing a 3-point buzzer-beater over Steph Curry, LeBron had this to say:

(via Yahoo Sports)

“After [Draymond Green’s] finger to the eye, I was literally seeing three rims out there,” James told ESPN’s Rachel Nichols following LA’s 103-100 win, referring to Green’s hard foul earlier in the fourth quarter.

I just shot for the middle one.”

Interestingly enough, James seems to have a complicated relationship with the Orlando Magic. After the 2020 bubble, he even said he’d rather retire than have to play for that organization.

Now, it appears the Magic got a little bit of revenge.

Focusing on the bigger picture, James is working hard to keep his Lakers near the top of the standings out West. With a flawed roster and injury-plagued season, that has proved extraordinarily difficult so far. The team is just 15-13 through the first few months.

Through it all, however, LeBron still finds the time to have some fun, as he proved on Sunday when he tried on those goggles for kicks.
