The 2023 NBA Draft introduced a fresh crop of prospects to the league. Evidently, each young player is excited to test their skills vs. the established stars in the NBA.

In a recent YouTube Short posted by ‘The Players’ Tribune,’ prospects such as Anthony Black and Cameron Whitmore shared their views on which players they are most excited to play against in the league. The consensus names were LeBron James and Stephen Curry.

Five players picked LeBron James as the player they want to face off against in the NBA. While two players named Stephen Curry. There were other names thrown in the mix as well, such as Paul George, Chris Paul, and Kevin Durant.

Cameron Whitmore interestingly picked Victor Wembanyama, who was selected as the first overall pick in the 2023 NBA Draft.

Will LeBron James Return To Play For The Los Angeles Lakers?

LeBron James wrapped up the 2022-23 season by leading the Los Angeles Lakers to the seventh seed in the Western Conference with a 43-39 record. Despite being the seventh seed, the Lakers managed to reach the Western Conference Finals.

Unfortunately, the Lakers were sent home by Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets following a 4-0 series win. James then dropped hints about potentially retiring from the NBA after 20 seasons.

Since then, many have wondered if the King will return to play or not. Well, James has been actively interested in the free-agency moves made by the Lakers. LeBron apparently approves of the signings made by the organization.

They have re-signed the likes of D’Angelo Russell, Austin Reaves, and Rui Hachimura. On top of that, they added Gabe Vincent, Taurean Prince, Jaxson Hayes, and Cam Reddish.

Everything points to LeBron James’ return to the Lakers. LeBron averaged 28.9 PPG, 8.3 RPG, and 6.8 APG over 55 games in the 2022-23 NBA season.
