Rapper Jeezy recently sat down with Nia Long for a candid conversation in promotion of his new album, I Might Forgive… But I Don’t Forget. During that, the topic of Ime Udoka, Long’s former partner, who had cheated on her came up, and Jeezy ended up taking a bit of a shot at him.

“This is my quote, ‘Real n****s don’t cheat,'” Jeezy said. “… It’s something in us that makes us want to be right across the board.”

(starts at 0:25 mark):

Long felt that most men cheat because it makes them feel like a king, and added that it’s gross and stupid. She somewhat understood the 46-year-old’s point, though, that real men won’t do it.

The 53-year-old saw her world turned upside down last year when Udoka’s cheating scandal came to light. The then-Boston Celtics head coach had entered into an inappropriate relationship with a team staffer, which violated guidelines.

The organization went public with the story and he would lose his job a few months later. Long was critical of how the Celtics handled the Udoka scandal, as she felt the matter could have been handled internally.

NBA Fans Reacted To Jeezy’s Comments

Whether Jeezy intended to take a shot at Udoka or not, his comments quickly went viral on X. NBA fans had some hilarious reactions to them.

One called out Jeezy for trying to flirt with Long by making such comments.

A fan jokingly said Udoka is now going to come after Jeezy.

Jeezy is willing to be an upstanding citizen for Long, a fan hilariously stated.

One joked about what Udoka would do if he ever crossed paths with Jeezy in Houston.

A fan pointed to lyrics from Jeezy’s song.

Whatever his intentions were behind saying it, there is truth to it. Jeezy himself is going through some difficult times, having filed for divorce from his wife, Jeannie Mai, on September 15 after two years of marriage. He had shared that the two had gone to therapy, but even that couldn’t save their relationship.

Nia Long Has Filed For Full Custody Of Their Son

Long and Udoka started dating all the way back in 2010 when he was playing for the Sacramento Kings. A year later on November 10, 2011, they welcomed their son, Kez.

Things seemed to be going great at the time and the couple got engaged in 2015, but they are in a bitter dispute over their son now. Long has requested full custody of Kez, stating that Udoka is not supporting him.

The split between Nia Long and Ime Udoka is getting nastier… The actress is now asking for primary custody of the couple’s child after she claims the NBA head coach has been failing to support the kid,” TMZ reported.

“Long made the allegation in a court filing in Los Angeles last week… While requesting a judge give her primary legal and physical custody of their 11-year-old son, Kez.

“According to the docs, however, she did ask the judge to allow Udoka a reasonable opportunity to visit their kid to the extent ‘consistent with the child’s best interest.'”

Udoka, however, isn’t keen on this one bit. He shared documents of his own in court and firmly maintained that they should have legal and physical joint custody. No ruling appears to have been made in favor of either side just yet, and you feel this matter will drag on for a while.
