Rudy Gobert has accomplished a fair bit in his time in the NBA, but it is safe to say he is hardly a well-liked figure. In fact, you can make the case that Gobert is the most disrespected good/great player in the league right now, with fans and players alike taking shots at him quite often.

Quite a few players seem to dislike him as well, which has led to him getting a bad rap, but he seems like a pretty good human being. He showed that once again with a great gesture toward Target Center employees, as he gifted $50 and a signed card to over 450 individuals.

More than 450 Target Center employess — ushers, concession workers, change-over, etc. — showed up to a nice little gift tonight. A signed card and $50 from Rudy Gobert, thanking them for all they do for the Wolves.

“More than 450 Target Center employess — ushers, concession workers, change-over, etc. — showed up to a nice little gift tonight. A signed card and $50 from Rudy Gobert, thanking them for all they do for the Wolves.”

Those signed cards to show his appreciation for their work would have especially meant a lot to them. Gobert did similar things when he was with the Utah Jazz, which explains why many within the organization loved him.

Rudy Gobert And The Timberwolves Are Struggling With Consistency

We always knew that the Timberwolves would take some time to get used to playing with Gobert, and they have had quite the roller coaster of a season. They recently followed up a three-game losing run by winning three in a row, with the latest win coming over the Dallas Mavericks. Coincidentally, Gobert has missed all three of those wins, which would embolden his critics even more.

There are already many who don’t like the trade, with Zach Lowe stating that he hasn’t heard anyone say that it was a good move by Minnesota. Hall of Famer Charles Barkley also called them idiots for pairing Gobert with Karl-Anthony Towns in today’s NBA. Towns being out with an injury doesn’t help matters when it comes to them getting to spend more time together on the court, and at this point, it is hard to see the Timberwolves making a lot of noise in the postseason.

Marion’s versatility as a defender and his rebounding prowess, despite being just 6’7”, impressed Gautam immensely. He admired Marion’s finishing ability at the rim and his shooting, despite an unconventional jump shot, believing that Marion’s skill set would have been even more appreciated in today’s NBA.This transformative experience not only deepened his love for basketball but also shaped his approach to sports writing, enabling him to connect with readers through vivid storytelling and insightful analysis.
