Russell Westbrook had a terrific game on Friday night, helping the Los Angeles Lakers beat the Toronto Raptors at Scotiabank Arena, 128-123. It was a great performance by the entire team, but Russ drew all the attention for his efficiency and the way he approached the match.

Brodie finished the night with a 22-point, 10-rebound, 10-assist triple-double, showing that he’s not done yet. Everybody was in awe of him after the game, but not a lot of people were rooting for him. Before his revenge game even started, Russ was recorded having a verbal altercation with a fan who supposedly tried to motivate him.

This person recorded himself talking with Russ, but the player wasn’t having anything that he was hearing. Westbrook was visibly upset with the fan, making it clear he’s not to be fooled.

“I ain’t a little kid, don’t play with me,” Westbrook said on a clip reportedly filmed on Thursday.

The fan tried to clarify his intentions with his remarks, saying he supports Westbrook and wanted him to play better.

“Russell, I f*** with you, I just want you to play better. I bet on you every night. I bet on you. You’re good.”

However, that was just a lie. After walking away from the former NBA MVP, the fan showed his true colors and started calling Russ names.

“Yo Russell, you’re a goof. You’re a goof bud,” the fan said while laughing.

It’s very sad to see fans going so hard on Westbrook. He’s gone through a lot this season and even his family has suffered this situation. They don’t attend games any longer because of all the insults Westbrook gets on a nightly basis. This situation must stop because it’s gotten annoying.

Not only fans, but players are constantly picking on Russ, like Karl-Anthony Towns and Patrick Beverley. Some think last night’s game was the turning point for the Lakers, and if that happens to be true, all the haters will have to hide because Westbrook won’t let them forget.
