Skip Bayless Says Lou Williams’ Trip To The Strip Club Will Give A Huge Advantage To LeBron And Lakers

2 Min Read

The L.A. Clippers are one of the deepest, most talented teams in the NBA. Compiled with players who are dominant on both ends of the floor, the Clips have few vulnerabilities.

But even they are not immune to the temptations of man, and Lou Williams lost a little self-control during an excused visit to Atlanta for a family member.

It was there that he was caught picking up food at a gentleman’s club. As a result, he will miss the Clippers’ first two seeding games and forfeit up to $150,000 in salary, according ESPN’s Bobby Marks.

Not having Lou for at least two games will hurt the Clippers. Because these first few matches will help determine seeding, L.A. could move down a position in the West if they lose enough games during this stretch.

Additionally, since Williams is a huge part of their rotation, not having him play to start the season could stunt their chemistry. Skip Bayless alluded to this in a statement on Twitter;

Needless to say, after weeks of inactivity, the Clippers (and every other team, for that matter) need some time to get themselves right, get back in rhythm, and build up some of the momentum they left off with.

It remains to be seen how his two-game absence will impact the team, but Skip seems to think that it leans in favor of LeBron and the Lakers and, for their sake, they better hope that’s true.
