If there’s one person that even the Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James cannot seem to turn into his fan, it’s none other than NBA analyst Skip Bayless. Bayless has infamously made a career out of hating LeBron at each and every stage of the King’s journey in the league.

Even though LeBron James has never really acknowledged Bayless’ hate, the Fox Sports analyst has continued firing shots at him. The most recent example of it was Bayless’ tweet about LeBron after his scintillating performance against the New York Knicks.

I really thought LeBron would have more of a show-stopping game tonight in this season’s lone visit to the Mecca of Basketball. All in all, a pretty quiet performance by his recent standards. But hey, thanks to Russ and Schroder in overtime, the Lakers did win.

The Los Angeles Lakers played an incredible game that went until OT and resulted in a 129-123 victory for the Purple and Gold. LeBron recorded 28 points, 10 rebounds, and 11 assists while 43 minutes. Despite that incredible triple-double performance, Bayless wasn’t impressed with LeBron James.

LeBron James And The Los Angeles Lakers Can Still Make A Comeback This Season

Even at 38 years old, LeBron James has continued his amazing form this season. Following his triple-double performance against the Knicks, the King made headlines for two big reasons.

First, he is now less than 100 points away from breaking Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s all-time scoring record. And second, climbing to the 4th spot in the all-time assists record.

Following the stunning victory, the Lakers now have a 24-28 record, which is still only good enough for them to be the 13th seed in the Western Conference. But with the competition in the West as tight as ever, the Lakers still have a chance to rack up wins and climb the table.

The only thing they need now is to make sure that LeBron doesn’t burn himself out and gets enough support around him to carry the Lakers to a playoff spot.
