Stephen Curry has been on fire over the last few months. His performances since the start of the season have been incredible, and have played a big part in the Warriors owning the best record in the NBA at 21-4. Curry is looking primed to win his 3rd MVP this season, which would cement him even further as one of the best ever.

A fellow legendary point guard has praised him for elevating his game recently. Brooklyn Nets head coach Steve Nash said that Curry has taken his game to another level, beyond anything we have seen from everyone else historically. Nash even remarked that it is hard to believe just how good Curry has been.

“He just took his game to another level comparative to everybody, historically to another level… It’s kind of still mind-boggling.”

Nash and Curry actually have a history together. Not only did the two face off when Nash and the Suns were key players in the Western Conference, but Nash also worked alongside Curry when he was a consultant for the Golden State Warriors. Nash’s role with the Warriors ended when he took the head coach position for the Brooklyn Nets.

Nash, a stellar point guard in his own right, has seen the way Curry has been playing so far. This season will be a historic one for Curry, as he is just 10 three-pointers away from breaking Ray Allen’s record for most three-pointers in NBA history, something he will do despite playing a little over half the games that Allen did in his career.

Curry and the Warriors have once again established themselves as key players in the NBA championship race. If Curry can win MVP, and lead the Warriors to win the NBA championship while winning Finals MVP for the first time in his career, one could argue that it would be the most successful season of Steph Curry’s entire career.
