Miami Heat guard Terry Rozier had to set the record straight today after one X user claimed that he took her out on a date to the movies last week. Without a second thought, Rozier denied the claim and squandered any suspicions that he hooked up with this random woman.

Rozier, an 8-year veteran, has recently been cleared to play after a right knee sprain cost him some time this season. And while his Heat tenure hasn’t been great so far, he’s got a chance to change that if he can stay out of trouble and keep his head in the game.

So far, these claims have not gone further than the post from “Camilla” and no proof has been shown to discredit Rozer’s side of the story. The consensus seems to be that “SpicyCammy” is just looking for attention to promote her OnlyFans account, where she has amassed an impressive following. Some even believe she may be a bot designed to farm likes and engagement, which obviously worked to perfection in this case. Regardless of the intent, Rozier has extra reason to be cautious about his approach.

With so many players having gotten into serious legal trouble lately (Miles Bridges and Kevin Porter Jr. among them), the NBA has adopted a zero-tolerance policy for these things and it would be risky for any player to get involved with a fan in that way.

After his trade from the Charlotte Hornets last month, Rozier finally has a chance to win the championship and it would just not be a good idea for him to invite chaos and instability into his personal life behind the scenes. When he returns from injury, all eyes will be on “Scary Terry” to see how he adjusts to his new surroundings, and to see if he can play a big role for them down the stretch of the season.
