All eyes will be on Victor Wembanyama when he gets drafted into the NBA in less than a month. Wembanyama is expected to be the next big thing in the league and is viewed as the consensus number-one overall pick in the 2023 NBA Draft.

The 19-year-old’s 7’4″ height is undoubtedly one of his biggest assets. But players who surpass the seven-foot mark don’t usually have the skill set to pull off flashy dunks. Well, Victor Wembanyama is not your average seven-footer, as he recently went viral for pulling off an amazing between-the-legs dunk during warmup.

The French phenom threw the ball toward the backboard, caught it, and effortlessly did a between-the-legs finish. NBA fans on Twitter went crazy while reacting to the clip.

A fan was in awe of Wembanyama’s towering height.

A fan was curious about Wembanyama’s vertical.

A fan called out people who weren’t appreciating the dunk.

Another fan applauded Wembanyama’s talent.

A fan labeled the French superstar as a ‘monster.’

There were a few fans who weren’t shocked by the dunk as they believed a plethora of players could pull it off.

But most fans realized the level of difficulty in making this dunk at a towering height. The clip certainly shows that Wembanyama has another layer to his skill set.

Victor Wembanyama To The San Antonio Spurs Is Almost A Guarantee

Over the last few years, the San Antonio Spurs have been vigorously searching for their next franchise star.

Since the organization has landed the number one overall draft pick in the 2023 NBA Draft, there is almost no doubt that they will select Victor Wembanyama with the top pick.

Wembanyama is aware of it and would love to play for the Spurs. After all, he will be coached by the legendary Gregg Popovich.

“There’s a special relation between France and the Spurs because of Tony (Parker), of course, and also Boris (Diaw),” Wembanyama said. “I know half of the country, maybe if not the whole country, wanted the Spurs to have the first pick, so I was looking at everyone, and everyone was happy, so I was too.”

Drafting Wembanyama will once again put the Spurs on the map. They finished the 2022-23 NBA season with a 22-60 record. Although it may take some time for Wembanyama to get adjusted to the NBA, his target is to lead the Spurs to a championship as soon as possible.
