Zach LaVine Asks For Advice On Twitter About Creative Shots For NBA’s HORSE Challenge

2 Min Read

Amid the NBA’s hiatus, league executives are coming together to bring some semblance of basketball to the community.

As part of the effort, ESPN is partnering with NBA stars to create the first-ever HORSE challenge, which will air live for fans around the world to witness. The network is set to broadcast the quarterfinals of the isolation-set event on Sunday at 7 p.m. ET while the semifinals and championship will air on Thursday, April 16, at 9 p.m. ET.

Zach LaVine was named as one of the contestants, and recently fielded ideas for creative shots he can add to his arsenal next week.

As you might have guessed, the results were nothing short of entertaining.

LaVine has been made famous for his performances in a few of the NBA’s All-Time best dunk contests. And while we don’t yet know how he’ll fare in this HORSE competition, there is reason to believe he will dominate.

Averaging 25 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 4.2 assists per game on 45% shooting, LaVine is among the best scoring guard the league has to offer. He can shoot the three, take it to the rim, and handle the ball to create space. He will be using all of those skills and more to beat out his opponents next week.
