The summer of 2019 may go down as one of the busiest in NBA history. An unprecedented number of stars have switched teams seemingly overnight, shifting the balance of power in the NBA faster than we may have ever seen.
In Detroit, while things have been eerily quiet for the Pistons, they might be gearing up for a big move of their own involving their star power forward, Blake Griffin. According to a tweet by @FeatureHoops, the Pistons have spoken with at least three teams involving a Griffin deal.

The 6x All-Star was traded from the Clippers at the 2018 trade deadline to Detroit, where he averaged 24.5 points per game, 7.5 rebounds, and 5.4 assists on 46% shooting during the most recent season.
Despite his play, however, his fit with the team has been anything but perfect. There is no depth on the roster, his frontcourt running mate, Andre Drummond, is very limited on the offensive end, the team has yet to mold a true identity for themselves.
Detroit finished as the 8th seed last season, getting swept by the Bucks in the first round.
