With free agency only a day away, the Indiana Pacers are searching for free agents that can help the organization move in the right direction. Indiana has 33 million in cap space which gives them a lot of flexibility. Last season the Pacers lost Victor Oladipo halfway through the season but surprisingly still made the playoffs as a 5 seed. And with the stellar play of Bojan Bogdanovic in the playoffs, he is expected to leave the club for a huge payday.

With Darren Collison retiring last night out of nowhere leaves the organization searching for a new point guard to lead the way. They also will need to fill the role of Tyreke Evans who has been removed from the league indefinitely. With all that has happened to the Pacers leave them to look for free agents that can contribute. And these are their top 5 targets come Sunday.

5. Seth Curry

Seth Curry Says Warriors Are ‘Harder To Guard’ Without Kevin Durant

Seth Curry is coming off a season where he averaged 7.9 PPG and shot the three ball at a 40% rate. He is a great role player who will help the second unit score with his ability to come off screens, pin downs, and ball reversals. Curry also will add shooting to a team who desperately needs more shot makers on their roster.

4. J.J. Redick

The 76ers have a lot of free agents this summer consisting of Jimmy Butler, Tobias Harris, and J.J. himself. But the Sixers priority is to re-sign both Butler and Harris to lucrative deals. But when it comes to J.J., the Sixers could afford for him to walk and test the market.

With that being said, Redick would fit right in with Oladipo and Wes Matthews in the backcourt. It would give the Pacers another shooter who can make the big shot when it counts and a veteran presence as well.

3. Terrence Ross

The Orlando Magic version of Terrence Ross was outstanding averaging 13.2 PPG in the postseason and getting buckets at will! He really showed why he is a valuable piece to a winning team.

The Pacers are very interested in Ross for 3 reasons. One, he is a rangy and long defender who can switch and guard one through three which would help the Pacers on defense and make them even better. Two, He is a great three-point shooter who shot the three ball at just over 37% during the regular season. And three, he is clutch. He brings a lot to the table and the Pacers could use an asset like him for next season.

2. Ricky Rubio

After the surprising news of Darren Collison retiring from the NBA, the Pacers are now looking for a veteran point guard. And Ricky Rubio is on the market which would make for a great fit if he joins the Pacers. Rubio would add that veteran leadership as well as a great floor general.

He has a very high IQ which will help come playoff time. Rubio is looking for a team and this would be a great pairing for both sides.

1. Danny Green

After winning his second championship, Danny Green is back on the market and is looking to maximize his dollars. This signing for the Pacers would bring a great 3 and D player to an organization that needs it. Danny Green would be bringing his dead-eye shooting, but also that championship pedigree to the locker room.

Danny Green is a knockdown shooter who moves great without the ball and plays excellent defense. Green is the ideal signing for the Indiana Pacers because he brings you not only his skills but brings experience as well.
