Skip Bayless: ‘Damian Lillard Is Playing Like He’s Mad At Somebody.’

Skip Bayless found the way to unleash Damian Lillard’s anger in recent days, when he tried to call out Lillard and the Portland Trail Blazers star replied to his comments, taking shots at the sports analyst and his ‘backpedaling’ when addressing players like LeBron James.

That didn’t stop there and Lillard went further, revealing Bayless told him he was depressed during a phone call. Dame was ready to show everybody he is the real deal and his last two games have proven that. He dropped 51 and 61 points on the Sixers and Mavericks, respectively, taking his side to the 8th seed of the West.

Last night he went off against Luka Doncic and his Mavs, becoming the only player with multiple 60 points, 5 assists and 5 rebounds in NBA history. Lillard sent a message after his back and forth with Bayless and the 68-year-old acknowledged that.

“Damian Lillard is playing like he’s mad at somebody,” he wrote on Twitter.

“Great game, Dame,” he said after Lillard closed the night with 61 points.

Yes, he somehow congratulated Lillard but that didn’t stop him from taking a jab at the point guard, recalling the struggles of Lillard against the Golden State Warriors last year in the Western Conference Finals.

“Now I want to see Damian Lillard finish it off vs dangerous Nets, then win just one of potential two games vs play-in team, then TAKE IT TO THE LAKERS and make up for his shockingly unclutch 4th quarters vs no-KD Warriors in last year’s West finals.”

Dame came up short against the Warriors last season and the Blazers got swept, but this man is ready to face anybody on his way to the Finals. If he makes it to the playoffs, LeBron James and the Lakers will be waiting. A lot of people have tipped them to upset the Lakers, more so know that Lillard is playing so well.

This man is inspired, he has a very good team and if they keep this momentum, the Lakers and whoever stands in their way will have a hard time.
