Reggie Jackson’s tenure with the Detroit Pistons has come to an end after the point guard agreed to a contract buyout with the Motor City. Jackson was the subject of several rumors in the last weeks and now he’s free to sign with a new team.
According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, after getting bought out by Detroit, Jackson plans to sign with the Los Angeles Clippers upon clearing waivers.

Jackson has appeared in 14 games this season. He’s averaging 14.9 points, 2.9 rebounds and 5.1 assists while shooting 38.4 percent from the field, 37.8 percent from beyond the arc and 78.8 percent from the free-throw line.
He has career NBA averages of 12.9 points, 3.0 rebounds and 4.4 assists with the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Pistons. He becomes an unrestricted free agent after this season ends.
