  • LeBron James revealed that Bronny is doing “extremely well”
  • The younger James is going through his “rehab process”
  • LeBron James admitted that he’s dedicating this season to his son

This summer, we saw LeBron James and his family go through a lot of stress and panic, due to Bronny James having a cardiac arrest during basketball practice. The younger James seems to be doing better now, and recently, we saw LeBron James provide an update on his son.

LeBron James revealed that his son is doing “extremely well”, and is hoping to come back on the court for USC this season. He also noted that he will dedicate the 2023-24 season to Bronny, noting that “nothing else matters” besides his family. Twitter account Ballislife relayed James’ words.

“Bronny is doing extremely well. He has begun his rehab process to get back on the floor this season with USC. He had successful surgery and he’s up and up. It’s definitely a whirlwind of emotions for our family this summer but the best thing we have is each other. And we stuck behind each other and gave Bronny strength throughout the whole process. We are happy to see where he is today and look forward to seeing what his future still has in store for him.”

“Nothing else matters besides my family and I’m going to dedicate this season to Bronny because of the incident that happened this summer. It puts everything in perspective. No matter what’s going on in your life at that point of time the only thing that matters is your family.”

There’s no doubt that this is good news for the James family. Heart issues are nothing to joke about, and it is clear that the family is taking the right steps to ensure Bronny returns to basketball only when he’s healthy. Hopefully, the rehab process continues to go well for Bronny.

LeBron James Was Scared Following Bronny’s Cardiac Arrest

There is no doubt that as a father, LeBron James had a lot of concern for his son following his cardiac arrest. In fact, a previous report revealed that at the time, LeBron James was scared and devastated about the situation and was “protecting his son” in any possible way.

“LeBron James is ‘scared and devastated’ following his son Bronny’s cardiac arrest during USC practice, friends have revealed. LeBron is ‘making sure he gets the best care possible’ and has entered ‘full dad mode and is protecting his son in any way he can.'”

Hopefully, we get to see LeBron James hoop sooner rather than later. Many people were excited about what he could do on the court after watching him in high school, and the younger James is definitely a smart player who plays the right way.

Ultimately though, the goal is for Bronny James to be fully healthy before stepping foot on the court again. It certainly seems as though things are on the right track though, and we’ll see if there are more updates on Bronny James’ situation in the future.
