USC All-American Bronny James suffered cardiac arrest during practice on Monday. The 18-year-old is now stable and out of ICU.

According to the Daily Mail, LeBron James is scared and devastated after his son went through a medical emergency. James reportedly went into ‘full dad mode’ to protect his son.

“LeBron James is ‘scared and devastated’ following his son Bronny’s cardiac arrest during USC practice, friends have revealed,” per the Daily Mail. “LeBron is ‘making sure he gets the best care possible’ and has entered ‘full dad mode and is protecting his son in any way he can.'”

Suffering a cardiac arrest is not a small deal. It ultimately puts Bronny’s basketball career at risk.

“If they find something that puts him at a high risk for sudden death then that … may make or break his career,” Dr Christopher Tanayan told the Daily Mail.

The entire NBA community is shocked after hearing the news. They have poured prayers to see Bronny healthy again and hopefully continue playing basketball.

Bronny James earlier committed to USC to begin his college basketball career. As things stand right now, there’s no guarantee that the 18-year-old will return to fulfill his dream of becoming a professional basketball player.

LeBron James Doesn’t Mind If Bronny James Doesn’t Want To Play With Him In The NBA

Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James has been very vocal about his dream of playing in the NBA with his son Bronny James.

However, under no circumstance does James want to pressure his son to fulfill his dream. LeBron revealed he would support Bronny no matter what he decides to do.

“As his dad, and his mom, Savannah, and his brother and sister, we’re going to support him in whatever he decides to do. So, just because that’s my aspiration or my goal, doesn’t mean it’s his. And I’m absolutely OK with that.”

It’s one thing deciding not to play in the NBA, it’s another being forced to give up on the dream. Bronny may fall in the latter category after suffering a cardiac arrest during practice on Monday.
